E get joy and sorrow for the air as e touch ground for Benin Airport, met with plenty ceremony wey fit make anybody feel like dem dey for national day celebration.
Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, no fit come receive am personally, but him send him Chief of Staff, Gani Audu, to represent am. Family members and high-ranking police officers too gather, plus AIG Salman Dogo, wey sabi follow the police tori well. Abeg, na wah! How e go take feel when you no see your boss again? Everybody dey groove but dem dey think of their fall guy wey don wax, chai!
The Guard of Honour wey the Nigerian Police mount for front of the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) plane wey carry am come, make everybody snap snap small. Current IGP, Olukayode Egbetokun, talk say dem go always remember Arase because he don do well for the police and Nigeria as a whole. Na the kind big-man-talk wey nobody fit ignore.
Arase, wey retire for 2016 after him don reach the mandatory retirement age, na person wey carry police matter for head for many years, running things under Goodluck Jonathan administration. E even serve as chairman for Police Service Commission from January 2023 till him last breath. Talk true, the man get plenty achievements under him belt.
