Bergen, Norway – Europe no dey sleep! This Thursday, SK Brann go host AEK Larnaca for Brann Stadion as dem begin their Europa League playoff clash. Both teams dey jost for better position, but no be all play dem don play well recently (better tension wey dey everywhere!).
Brann dey come off one sweet 2-1 victory against Tromso last weekend, ghee! Dem dey hope say dem fit carry dat momentum enter this European battle. But, dem don get one wahala, as dem don lose their last two home matches in Europa, including wahala wey Salzburg give dem with 4-1 beat (abi dem no know say Europe no be child’s play?).
Manager no wan put pressure, but this play be like make-or-break for Brann. Dem never reach the main stage of UEFA competitions before, and dis na dem chance to shine under the spotlight (no be to show face, to show say dem fit play better football!). If dem fit secure strong win for home, e go boost dem morale plenty.
For the other side, AEK Larnaca no gree rest either. Dem don dey show big eyes this season, dey look to secure dem spot inside Europa League group phase again. But no be all glamour dem dey enjoy; dem don collect some harsh realities away from home and dem need to sharpen their skills (as dem dey carry dem eyes follow Brann). Dem don draw one and lose two matches this season already!
Brann get some injury issues wey fit affect dem play, while AEK go miss one player wey don collect red card against Legia Warsaw. If AEK fit utilyze di energy wey dem sabi gather for home games, maybe dem fit upset Brann for dis match (boda, football na very funny game!).
