SiM performs new opening theme song for Attack on Titan season 4 part 3

Japanese rock band SiM has produced the new opening theme song for Attack on Titan season 4 part 3, titled ‘Under The Tree’.

The band previously created the ‘The Rumbling’ OP for season 4 part 2.

SiM incorporated orchestral strings and choirs, along with their signature heavy bass sound and “Eren’s Cry” to create a song that represents Mikasa.

The band expressed feeling pressure in fulfilling such an enormous responsibility, but also acknowledged that being entrusted with the ending of an important episode that marks the final phase of the story is an answer to their anxieties.

In season 4 part 2, ‘The Rumbling’ was intended to symbolize a new world opening up, both figuratively in terms of the series’ politics and literally for the characters across the ocean.
