Shaibu: Tinubu pres, “Nigerians transition into fire”
Phrank Shaibu, a communications assistant to presidential hopeful Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), projects that if Bola Tinubu were to be voted in as President, Nigerians would move away from one difficult situation into another.
On Sunday, Shaibu conveyed that the “Restored Hope” slogan associated with Tinubu, the presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was nothing but “defeat in camouflage”.
Nigerians should not be tricked into accepting a deceptive and false optimism being presented by someone offering false hope.
Shaibu expressed frustration that Tinubu, who had vocally been advocating for the public in regards to the naira redesign policy, had not uttered a word about the prolonged Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.
