Santa Fe, Argentina — On the latest session, the Santa Fe Provincial Senate unanimously approved a declaration project by Senator Felipe Michlig that honors Club Sportivo Suardi for winning the Northern Conference title in the Argentine League’s Clausura Tournament.
Senator Michlig highlighted the hard work and dedication of the players, coaching staff, and club officials during his remarks in the chamber. “It was the result of a lot of effort, sacrifice, organization, and planning from everyone involved,” he stated, acknowledging the significant support from the club throughout their formidable campaign.
The senator also pointed out that Club Sportivo Suardi triumphed over Independiente BBC in the finals, claiming the championship of the Northern Conference. They are now set to compete against the Southern Conference champion on their path to ascending to the National Basketball League.
“The list of players and coaching staff deserves to be mentioned for this special occasion,” Senator Michlig noted. He listed the team members who contributed to this victory: Mirko Kozar, Gaston Fino, Santiago Pinetti, Luciano Lizarraga, Horacio Rigada, Sebastian Braida, Nahuel Fino, Santiago Calderon, Facundo Eberhardt, Nahuel Tilio, Bautista Vantessone, Pablo Martinez, Edgardo Torne, and Gabriel Prado, with Coach Andres Poi at the helm, assisted by Leonardo Gandolfo and physical trainer Kevin Boscarol, alongside kinesiologist Federico Rubiolo.
Moreover, Senator Michlig emphasized that it is noteworthy that a club from Suardi, a city in the interior of the Santa Fe Province, has achieved such a remarkable milestone.
