According to the party’s mouthpiece, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, dem don wan tell all members to cut all connections with El-Rufai because dem claim say he no dey represent them anymore. Dem even talk say e no fit use dem name or anything wey concern dem for the next 30 years! (30 years? Wetin person fit do with 30 years? Na wah!).
El-Rufai don jump from APC (All Progressives Congress) come SDP last year, even be one of the brain behind the ADC (African Democratic Congress) group wey dey plan to challenge President Tinubu for the 2027 election. Na so back-and-forth drama dey unfold, and El-Rufai no even talk anything yet about di whole kora (e don dey silent like somebody wey dey eat pepper soup for back).
Members wey dey support El-Rufai no take this news lightly at all. One of dem, Hon. Abdullahi Mai Kano, don come out to dey blast SDP, claiming say di kora no fit follow their own constitution. “You go check di constitution of SDP, wetin dem talk about dis matter? Na who dem think say dem be?” he ask. (Sometimes, dis politicians no just dey make sense at all, e be like say dem dey high on palm wine).
Hon. Mai Kano even carry mouth come talk say El-Rufai still get him party membership card with number 35001, no be small. As he dey hammer all dis arguments down, he still yarn say El-Rufai come to SDP to help improve di party, and no be to scatter am. E be like say na wetin people dey call politicians’ game.
Farfesa Abubakar Kari wey dey work for University of Abuja don talk say all dis palava no even surprise am. According to am, all di political parties wey dey Nigeria dey get their own fight, no be only di ones wey dey opposition. Na dem dey always find who to carry blame.
