Ronaldo leads Al Nassr to victory against Al Shabab
In a match that saw thrilling action from the very first minute, Al Nassr managed to secure a 3-2 victory against Al Shabab in the Saudi Pro League on Wednesday.
Al Shabab started marauding from the beginning, making several attempts to score, but it was Al Nassr who took the lead in the 24th minute. Cristian Guanca scored the opener from the spot after a penalty for handball was awarded to the team.
The first half saw some action from both sides, but it was the second half where the real game began. Abdulrahman Ghareeb levelled the score in the 51st minute, taking advantage of being unmarked in the box to slot the ball home.

Al Nassr lined up with Rossi, Al Ghanam, Lajami, Gonzalez, Konan, Alhassan, Alkhaibari, Gustavo, Talisca, Ronaldo, Ghareeb, while Al Shabab’s team had Seung-gyu, Al Sagour, Santos, Al Tambakti, Al Harbi, Krychowiak, Al Monassar, Guanca, Banega, Junior, Mina.
In another match, leaders Al Ittihad beat bottom-of-the-table Al Batin 1-0 on Tuesday night.
