Rodrygo fit waka comot from Real Madrid if dem no change style

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Brazilian forward Rodrygo could leave Real Madrid this summer unless the club modifies their playing style to enhance his contributions, sources report. The 24-year-old has expressed dissatisfaction with his current role, primarily due to the arrival of Kylian Mbappé which has reduced his prominence in the squad.

Reports suggest that Rodrygo’s future at the Santiago Bernabéu hinges on Carlo Ancelotti’s job security. The Brazilian will consider staying only if Ancelotti is replaced by Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso, who is known to have a playing style that aligns more closely with Rodrygo’s strengths. The winger’s contract runs until June 2028, yet uncertainty looms as clubs like Manchester United show interest in securing his services.

Spanish media indicates that Manchester City is not only interested in Rodrygo but could be willing to pay up to $113 million (€100 million/£85.3 million) to facilitate a deal. Meanwhile, Atlético Madrid is eyeing winger Antony, who currently plays on loan at Real Betis, with a potential price tag of $56 million (€50 million/£42.6 million).

In other transfer news, Real Madrid is monitoring Kepa Arrizabalaga’s situation at Bournemouth, where the goalkeeper is currently on loan. Should Andriy Lunin depart, Kepa may return to Madrid as a potential replacement.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lucas Bergvall has also caught the eye of Real Madrid. Bergvall recently signed a new contract until 2031 and has emerged as a key player for Spurs, raising the stakes for any potential transfer.

Barcelona has reportedly informed PSG that they will not sell defender Jules Kounde this summer, emphasizing his importance to the team despite ongoing financial challenges.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is reportedly leading the charge to sign Lorient midfielder Arthur Avom, who has drawn comparisons to Yaya Touré for his impressive playing style. The 20-year-old could be loaned to sister-club Strasbourg next season if the deal goes through.

As the transfer window approaches, clubs are gearing up for a busy summer. With Ryan Sessegnon and Eberechi Eze also attracting interest from several teams, including Crystal Palace, this could signal a transformative period in numerous squads.
