Revolution No Be Spices: Wetin Naija Need Na Patience and Family

Abuja, Nigeria – As we dey mark 65 years of independence, e don clear say revolution no be something we go fit buy for road like pepper and maggi. Dis na the time wey we go take am serious and address di inside issues wey dey affect our country. Naija no be kitchen stall; na our life we dey talk.

People dey sell revolution like dem dey sell fish for market, but wetin we really need no be just noise and riot. True revolution suppose start for our homes, where family values dey form. If we wan truly change di game, we gatz recognize say e go require steady work and true internal change.

Uprisings wey no follow civic preparation fit bring wahala instead of solution. We don see am plenty time: from North Africa to places like Libya and Syria. Na dem place dem teeth dey sharp as revolution turn into chaos instead of di freedom wey dem desire.

When dem start #EndSARS for 2020, wetin begin as a noble cause end up become a bitter pill as di movement collapse under pressure of many factors. We still need to learn from dem, say civil engagement need patience and a sustainable plan.

As families, we need to sharpen our values before we fit expect government to build something wey no dey worth wey una fit carry enter future. If our private lives no dey okay, how we want make our public life shine? How we wan shine when our character dey leak like pot wey don break?

Look at di people wey dey suppose lead us: dem dey chop money and leave di citizens dey struggle for basic needs. Na dem wey go expect us to question dem? It be like saying we blind for we own eyes. Wetin go change if we don’t start from our family, where we fit teach our pikin dem dat integrity dey important?

Dis revolution wey we fit get na one wey dey grow small-small, not di one wey dey shout and burn. We go fit build trust, improve our schools, and create a society wey go dey safe and civilized. All dis “rebellion” where we dey see no really dey solve di issue. E dey make am worse sometimes.

So, as we dey look forward to better governance under President Bola Tinubu, make we gatz understand say he wey dey build institutions wey go make life better for di people, na im go get our loyalty. No be just champagne and party we need; na serious action wey go deliver di goods.

It dey time for all of us, especially di youths, to shine eye well-well. Make we no dey run after leaders wey dey promise quick fix. E go pain but patience na di key wey go unlock di better Naija we dey crave. E no go happen overnight, but small-small, we fit get di Nigeria wey go make sense!
