Rally to change the perception of Nigerians holds

Africa’s New Dawn, a non-governmental organization (NGO), plans to organize a nationwide unity rally aimed at changing the perception of Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora.

Mr. Ihuchukwu Chima, the national president of Africa’s New Dawn, revealed it during a press conference titled “One love, one nation, one president” Thursday in Abuja.

He said the move was aimed at strengthening the unity of the nation and disenchanting the minds of Nigerians of the perception created by “evil doers”.

According to Chima, the rally is expected to be held across the country and in strategic cities around the world.

“The purpose of the rally is to disillusion the minds of Nigerians in the country and the Diaspora against the evil plots of evildoers whose desire is to subvert and sabotage the current administration,” he said.

Chima said those involved in the sabotage were doing it on purpose for their selfish interests and to divide the country between elements whose desire is to see Nigeria in disarray.

“The plans of these troublemakers are to create hatred and acrimony which will turn into anarchy and give rise to national embarrassment.

“This is to make the country ungovernable for the current administration. But this diabolical mission against Nigeria will be stopped by this brilliant effort that we have put in place to cross Nigeria and the world.

“This gathering will aim to correct misperceptions and let all Nigerians know that it is only one love that will keep us strong together. A nation will protect us and only one president is constitutionally authorized, ”he added.

Chima also said the project was not about President Muhammadu Buhari but about the stability of the nation.

“The project is about Nigeria as a platform on which citizens must operate.

“Therefore, we cannot allow unpatriotic elements to destroy our national platform to which we are committed to remain faithful, loyal and honest and to serve with our strength.

“But we at Africa’s New Dawn believe in Nigeria and must work with all our strength and intellectual prowess to keep the country united,” he said.

The national president explained that the rally will penetrate all sections of the country’s 36 states and in various languages.

He said the project would heal the “damaged image” that Nigeria’s enemies had concocted to distort the country internationally. (NOPE)
