Put Nigeria first, BPSR boss advises politicians
Dasuki Arabi
Mr. Dasuki Arabi, Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), has advised Nigerians to embrace peace and unity so that the country will witness free and fair elections in 2023.

Nigerian News Agency Forum in Abuja
Arabi gave the advice when he appeared at the Nigerian News Agency Forum in Abuja on Sunday.

Arabi said that politicians should not beat the drums of war every time there are elections.

He also advised the media, especially social media professionals, to put Nigeria first above any interests.
“We should love Nigeria before anything else in a good light with truth and precision.
“We don’t have any other country except Nigeria, wherever you go after three weeks, you will be looking for a Nigerian restaurant to eat Nigerian meals.
“That means you feel homesick; we must take care of our house so as not to cause problems; politicians come and go, the nation remains,” she advised.
Muhammadu Buhari
Arabi said the relationship between President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Goodluck Jonathan should serve as a lesson to Nigerians.
He noted that despite the change in power in 2015, “the last president and the current president have become friends.”
Arabi added that the current administration has also continued with some of the policies of past administrations in the country.
Independent National Electoral Commission
According to him, Nigerians should have confidence in the ability of the Independent National Electoral Commission to hold free, fair and credible elections in 2023.
