FIFA President Gianni Infantino received a high-level delegation, led by European Commission Vice-President Margaritis Schinas, in Zurich for bilateral discussions on a number of key issues related to football, society and the development of the world game.

The exchange provided both sides with the opportunity to discuss various important issues that are relevant to football around the world, such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, proposals related to the international match schedule, transfer system reforms and FIFA's continued work to create the first independent international safe sports entity.
