According to Zakari Baba, the chairman of Karsana people, na around 10 am commotion start as police dey block locals from entering their community to carry their property. Na so dem wey lose dem house begin shout and try to push dem way enter. As e be, police no wan hear word o, dem fire gun.
“As I dey talk to you now, Sunday Danjuma and Jacob Audu, wey collect bullet, dey receive treatment for Gwagwa health center. Dis wahala na serious matter,” Baba yarn.
We carry mata go Hon Musa Dikko, wey dey represent the Federal Capital Territory for Public Complaints Commission (PCC). E confirm say police shoot two people as dem scatter the villagers. E says, “I hear distress call and quick go the place to calm down tension. We don also invite the developer wey carry out the demolition to explain wetin happen.”
But wait, the FCT police spokesman, SP Adeh Josephine, no pick her phone or respond to text message on top this matter. Na wah! No be say dem no get mouth to talk.
The chairman of AMAC, Hon Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, join for the matter too. Him vex say dem demolition don affect palace of the village chief, Yahaya Barde. Maikalangu don talk say e go sue the developer. “No one suppose demolish house without notice! Dis kind tin no dey work,” him rant.
