Ekiti Police Command confirmed on Sunday the kidnapping of an Agbanigo Isaac from his farm, bringing the number of people abducted so far in similar circumstances in the state to 10 in recent months. .

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) ASP Sunday Abutu in a statement to Ado Ekiti on Sunday said Isaac, who resides in Ikere Ekiti, seat of the state’s Ikere LGA, has been kidnapped Saturday, around 4 p.m. the sa closes, along the Ajegbende-Ise Ekiti road.

According to her, after the suspects asked them a series of questions, they escorted her and the children to the main road, but took her husband to an unknown destination.
She revealed that her husband’s family members had argued over the same farm with a lot of threats, before the incident happened, therefore, she suspects that the conflicting family members must be behind her husband’s kidnapping, as the kidnappers were all talking. in Ikere Ekiti dialect, ”said the PPRO.
Abutu revealed that the command has already invited three people for questioning and further investigation.
“We hereby implore everyone to remain calm, as the Command will do everything possible to rescue the victim and apprehend those behind the kidnapping.
“We have launched a serious manhunt and investigation to unravel the identities and apprehend those behind the kidnapping.
