Abuja, Nigeria – Wahala don burst for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ground as fresh division don show face. The group wey dey follow Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, don suspend National Chairman, Umar Damagum, plus five other big guys wey dey run the party. E happen on Saturday, as Senator Samuel Anyanwu, National Secretary of the factional National Working Committee (NWC), come brief journalists.
According to Samuel, dem don pick Mohammed Abdulrahman, National Vice Chairman (North Central), as the acting chairman. He talk say, “We don suspend Damagum because he no sabi run the party, and him dey chop money wey no go down well.” Dem also suspend the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, and some other top guys for antics wey no follow the party’s rules.
As confusion dey reign, Naija talk say na only God fit save this party. With all these suspensions, dey say make everybody gather dey face disciplinary committee to answer for wetin dem do, unless dem wan start new life for another party.
Meanwhile, Damagum’s supporters dey vex because he don also suspend Samuel and his people. Na real party drama be this. Who go reign supreme? We fit only watch and laugh.
Abdulrahman wey don dey follow political gist for almost ten years, dey poised to lead the party now. I go like see how him go take fit unite this scattered family before dem run the National Convention wey dem don plan for November 15 and 16, for Ibadan.
Things dey hot as wahala still dey jostle for South-South leadership. As defeat dey loom for November, dem go need serious prayer to fit hold things down.
Anyways, some party members don dey drag dem to court again. Na dem dey say PDP no fit run dis election until everything dey correct.
