Pakistan reports 39 new cases of COVID-19-

Health Ministr

– Pakistan added 39 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

The overall count of infected people rose to 1,575,186 across the country after adding the new cases, according to data released by the ministry.

A total of 30,631 people have died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no further deaths in the past 24 hours, according to ministry statistics.

On Tuesday, 7,221 tests were carried out across Pakistan and the positivity rate stood at 0.54 percent.

There are 29 patients who are in critical condition. ■
