Pakistan reports 27 new cases of COVID-19-

Pakistan has recorded 27 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the country‘s Health Ministry said on Saturday.

The overall count of infected people rose to 1,575,066 across the country after adding the new cases, according to data released by the ministry.

A total of 30,630 people have died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no further deaths reported in the past 24 hours, the data showed.

On Friday, 7,183 tests were carried out across Pakistan while the positivity rate stood at 0.38 percent.

There are currently 43 patients who are in critical condition in the country. ■
