Pakistan records 31 new cases of COVID-19-
– Pakistan reported 31 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the country’s Health Ministry said on Sunday.
The overall count of infected people rose to 1,575,097 across the country after adding the new cases, according to data released by the ministry.
A total of 30,630 people have died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no further deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the ministry’s statistics.
On Saturday, 6,249 tests were carried out across Pakistan and the positivity rate stood at 0.50 percent.
There are 40 patients currently in critical condition in the country. ■
