Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) don dey urge President Bola Tinubu to locate the headquarters of the South West Development Commission (SWDC) in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.

According to reports from Punch and The Guardian, the APC in Oyo State believe say Ibadan be the best place for the SWDC headquarters because of its strategic location and historical significance in the South West region.

The party leaders argue say Ibadan get the infrastructure and the human resources wey go make the commission function well. They also talk about how the city dey central to other states in the South West, making it easier for people to access.

This call dey come at a time when there be ongoing discussions about how to develop the South West region and make am more economically viable. The SWDC na one of the initiatives wey the federal government introduce to promote regional development.
