The Optyma control panel is proving effective at Facebook’s head office in Dubai. The MENA Cooling IDS team has put together a remarkable project for control panels by providing an efficient turnkey solution for Facebook Dubai. It was a strategic victory as we provided a fully equipped solution to Facebook’s requests by improving the performance of their cold room, ensuring optimal protection for perishables kept in their cold room.

We recently commissioned our Optyma control panels (CPs) installed in cold rooms for social media giant, Facebook, which recently opened a new 20,000 square foot flagship office in Dubai after growing 264% in the MENA region over the past five years. This office space accommodates around sixty employees, in its new home in Dubai Knowledge Village.

The execution of the project was carried out by Naser al Sayer & Co LLC (NASCO), one of our premium partners for refrigeration accessories and controls for the region. By performing successful trials in diverse tropical conditions after bundling the Optyma PCs with the refrigeration units; We could convince NASCO of the differential factor in our CPs. NASCO agreed that compared to their previous competitive alternatives and locally assembled panels, Optyma control panels could offer their customers a complete, cost effective and unified solution for their commercial refrigeration needs. Now, NASCO consolidates our Optyma CPs with the majority of their cold room to cater to their customers with a complete energy efficient solution.

For the FB project, Carlo Magno D Goloyugo, our technical manager oversaw the integration between Danfoss Optyma AK-RC control panels and cold room units at the customer’s BMS, allowing Facebook’s global technical teams to monitor the performance of the cold room remotely, accessible 24/7 around the world.

“The value proposition offered by our Optyma control panel is well designed by customers today and today we have reached the doors of Facebook,” says Amal Vijayan, Sales Manager for the UAE region. “This is one of the many prestigious facilities in the region where Optyma CPs together with our refrigeration controls ensure to strengthen Danfoss as a reliable partner whose focus is always on energy efficiency. “

The recently upgraded Optyma control panel provides trouble-free installation, when combined with other Danfoss condensing units and components, while serving as a user-friendly remote monitoring solution when connected to the ProsaLink application. The energy savings that this solution brings with its intelligent defrost mode and night setting make it the desired solution for future refrigeration applications.
