The Attorney General, Pamela Bondi, don carry three states—Kentucky, Minnesota, and Texas—go court because dem dey allow undocumented students to enjoy the same study prices like one of our own paddy.

As e be, Texas no waste time. As dem hear the first lawsuit in June, dem quickly shut down their policy like say na competition wey dem no wan lose. Now, plenty students wey don grow for Texas don dey panic because dem don’t know wetin go happen to their school fees. This whole wahala don throw everybody off balance!

Before this drama start, about half of the states (23 to be precise) and D.C. dey allow these students to benefit from cheaper tuition, as per the Texas Dream Act wey don dey since 2001. How the gbolahan for this matter be na, Texas was the first state wey open dem arms for these kids. The thing just sweet until now, when Trump come say make everybody pack their load and go back to square one!

The current lawsuits show the political chop chop wey dey happen everywhere, especially as we dey see Republican lawmakers showing strongest side against the same policies wey their predecessors actually support before. Omo, na serious policy flipping dem dey do here! (No be small confusion.)

The whole small small states like Kentucky and Minnesota dey feel the heat as dem are now expected to answer back to the court by mid-August. If dem no respond, wahala fit happen be that. And for Texas, civil rights groups no wan sit down quietly; dem don rush enter the matter to say this na collusion. E be like say lawmakers and federal government plan everything behind doors without considering the affected students.

Republicans and Democrats before dey agree on how students wey grow for these states fit study without worrying too much about their status—now, the entire thing don turn to battlefield wey dem dey fight to prove point, no be school dem suppose dey find for now? As e be now, some lawmakers dey run away from this arrangement because dem believe say na this kind policies dey encourage illegal immigration. But na who dem suppose blame? Plenty of these students just want make dem get better life after finishing school!
