  Youth affiliates in schools and universities did an effective job in organizing awareness campaigns seminars and trainings ASMARA Eritrea January 7 2022 APO Group At an annual activity review meeting held on January 4 5 the National Union of Youth and Students of Eritrea assessed the progress of the implementation of the 2021 programs and drew up a new Strategic Work Plan At its meeting the National Union of Youth and Students of Eritrea stated that the youth branches of schools and universities are effective in organizing awareness campaigns seminars and training courses Participants discussed the activity reports presented and adopted various recommendations In a closing speech the Union President Saleh Ahmedin indicated that the union has been drawing up various strategic plans in order to fully implement its visions and objectives Also noting that the new Strategic Work Plan is adopted in relation to the prevailing era Mr Saleh asked partners and society for strong involvement In a speech presented the Chief of Political Affairs of the PFDJ Mr Yemane Gebreab indicated that the strengthening of bilateral and regional relations with neighboring countries is one of the largest programs of 2022 and called on the NUEYS to prioritize and organize their programs with a view to strengthening their relationships with youth organizations in the Horn of Africa Highlighting the priority of human resource development Mr Yemane also informed the union to implement its programs taking into consideration the strengthening of the participation and contribution of youth in the Diaspora
