Wahala don dey as producer Jerry Bruckheimer come talk say dem fit get sequel for di classic film “Crimson Tide” wey don dey waka since 1995. Dis matter come come out for di “Rich Eisen Show” dis week, and e mean say we go fit see wetin dey happen under di water once more. (No be small tin, abeg!)
Bruckheimer, who sabi wetin e dey do, gree say dem don get director and writer wey dey talk to di navy bout wetin dey happen under di sea. But make we no too dey carry our mata for di matter because dem no even mention di name of di director and writer yet. E be like say dem wan do small suspense for us. (E go soft if dem fit gather plenty stars again!)
Di man even tok say if dem fit give Denzel Washington beta script, e fit return as him character wey dey fight for control of di submarine against Gene Hackman wey don already chop 95. Bruckheimer yan, “If we give him a good script, I think he’d do it.” (Abeg, Denzel no dey play! Make dem no forget to add am jie-jie for di script!)
This na di wahala wey dey follow young actors wey go fit join di show. Di last actor wey we fit see for di movie, Gene Hackman, don waka from dis world since February, and e go be hard to replace am. Bruckheimer also talk say Tony Scott, di original director, don follow him ancestors since 2012, plus Robert Towne wey be one of di writers, don pack him load since last year. (E be like say dis film fit get plenty ghost for di screen!)
People no sabi who go fit stand for dis sequel, but dem talk say plenty stars like Warren Beatty, Al Pacino, and Tommy Lee Jones don dey eye di roles before. So as Bruckheimer dey plan di film, e fit still happen say some new faces go jam di screen. We dey watch as di drama dey unfold. (E go sweet if dem fit gather all di old crew again for dis one!)
And for di folks wey still dey hope make di next installment of “Top Gun” no take sef 36 years like di last one, Bruckheimer don confirm say dem dey work on part three wey go land sharper. E giddily talk say, “I can’t talk about [di story] yet, but it’s a real good one.” (We go dey wait, idris. Who no like action?!)
Make we dey follow dis gists, because Hollywood no dey sleep, and dis na just di start of wahala. We go sabi if Denzel go jump back into di submarine action or if na something else go happen. Stay tuned, my people!
