Northwest Healthcare Gives Back to Community with Donations and Drives
Honoring Doctors’ Day
Northwest Healthcare has made several donations to local community organizations dedicated to wellbeing and health. In honor of Doctors’ Day on March 30, their hospitals gave out $13,100 in charitable contributions to local nonprofit organizations including Borderlands Produce Rescue, Clínica Amistad, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and Tu Nidito.
Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive
Additionally, Northwest Healthcare held a Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive to benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. Their four hospitals collected 2,013 jars of peanut butter and healthy nut butters in honor of National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day on April 2. Of those, the Sahuarita employees and volunteers collected 555.
