Nollywood Shaker: Taye Arimoro Don Experience Indefinite Suspension Over Fight Matter

Abuja, Nigeria – Nollywood actor Taye Arimoro don enter wahala, as him don receive indefinite suspension from all film productions for Naija. This one no be joke o! Na after serious gbege wey happen for the set of film wey dem dey call “Pieces of Love” on November 12, 2025. Omo, this one na serious matter as the three big shots for film industry, wey be the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), and the Association of Movie Producers (AMP), come together to drop this suspension hammer on top Taye’s head.

According to dem, during di investigation wey dem carry out, Taye na di primary aggressor wey cause the fight. E no be small thing o! He dey accused of physically assaulting di production manager and even one driver. No be dem get mouth for e matter. Dis na serious lapse in judgement if you ask me, because Taye go live for social media after di incident come dey tell his side of di story wey dem classify as “false and misleading” (like say person wey get bad mouth dey yarn).

Taye don dey vex cause dem don order am to do plenty things to clear his name go. E go need to issue public apology for di same platform wey him use to spread di yarn, and he must also release video wey go correct di sequence of events. Na wah! E still go return to complete his remaining two scenes in Pieces of Love under serious supervision. Talk about dem forced labor! E get dem wahala wey dey follow this one oh.

Peppa dem went outside o! Producer Peggy Ovire wey no dey on ground when di fight begin, but she still don receive small slap from di board. Dem say her action to pursue Taye outside the set escalate di matter. Dem don tell am make she write apology letters to di guilds and also to di estate management where di wahala happen. Na wetin dem dey call ‘better person’? I dey laugh for di drama wey dey unfold.

Na so di three guilds take make their stand clear – dem no dey tolerate violence or any form of misbehavior for set. As dem don declare dis zero tolerance policy, dey say dem dey work on a national On-Set Conduct and Safety Code wey go help curb di kind wahala wey happen when peeps no gree manage dem anger well. Whoever wey think say Nollywood na play, make dem think again!

Meanwhile, Peggy don come out wey her own statement wey get plenty fire. Her lawyer don slam Taye’s N100 million demand, calling am “misleading, selective, and materially false.” Di koko na say Peggy dey assert say na Taye na him dey try run join police before dem catch am. Si si si! She claim say she didn’t touch am for di altercation, as di only physical contact wey happen na when she just push am gently after he try to deflate her tyres. Hmmm, dis matter try dey sweet for di eye!

In response to all dis, Taye don vow say di joint verdict na inaccurate, and he go carry di matter to court (naw it don turn court drama). Na wah indeed! How Nollywood actors dey behave be like children wey no sabi how to play. Dey need di hands of adult for dis one. As di matter dey unfold, we go keep our eyes open to see wetin go happen next. Stay tuned, my people!
