Ginger your gist, wey no go finish for mouth! Nollywood diva Abiola Adebayo don finally confirm wetin some people don dey yarn since last year – she and her husband, Oluwaseyi Akinrinde, don split! E be like say dem don wear separation cap since April 2024, but no wahala, dem dey focus on co-parenting their adorable son.
For an Instagram post wey she drop on Tuesday, Abiola pepper everybody with birthday shout-out to her ex-hubby. She come write, “Happy birthday to my ex-husband and my baby daddy. I pray say grace go follow you like shadow, and may God dey shine your road.” (Person go fit wonder if dem fit really be exes when the wishes be sweet likeso!)
She go on talk, “Yes, you hear correct! We don dey separate since April last year, but we dey co-parent our pikin like mature adults.” (Adulting no easy, abi?)
Abiola don share how e be for her since the breakup, even though she dey act strong for social media. She talk say many nights don see her dey cry small-small, but she dey find strength from Christ wey dey love her forever. “I dey put smile for people face during day, but my pillow na the real MVP wey dey collect my tears every night,” she lamented.
She no forget to advice her followers, saying, “No be everything person dey show for outside. Make we learn to dey kind to each other; you fit no know wetin person dey carry for mind until dem tell you.” (Na true talk, my people!)
Fans and padi dem for comment section no carry last; dem flood am with love and support, as dem praise her for handling the breakup with style. Nollywood colleague Regina Chukwu even drop one hot comment: “Biola… it’s well.” (Support wey sweet pass sugar!)
Sometime for 2023, Abiola gist PUNCH newspaper say the reason why she and her husband take small time to court before wedlock na because dem gatz a lot in common; they marry less than six months after they start dey date. As the gist dey go, dem welcome their son, wey dem born through surrogate, in April 2023.
So now, as e be, dis Abiola and her ex go dey waka together for parenthood road even if dem no dey together as husband and wife. Na wetin we call maturity, my people! Make we keep them for prayers as the struggle continue.
