On November 5, 2025, Justice Omotosho gree say na im duty as judge to make sure say Kanu get enough opportunity to talk him side. Dis na big deal, because the man no be lawyer, and everybody sabi say law fit confuse person if dem no careful.
As the court matter dey unfold, Omotosho come throway warning say if Kanu no talk, dem go consider the case rest without him input. Kanu wey be economist no dey take am light, but him still dey insist say the charges wey dem put for him matter no valid at all. Na serious argument wey fit make person scratch him head.
Justice Omotosho remind Kanu say na him own responsibilty to figure dis out well. Him also advise am to meet correct lawyers wey sabi the law well, and no just dey chop palm wine with him former lawyers wey don turn consultants. Kanu, wey no wan listen, still dey talk say the law wey dey against am don don comot since.
As the court dey try manage how Kanu go fit take defend himself, him dey argue say dem no fit dey charge person under law wey don expire. Dem judge don already give him five days to talk, but Kanu dey say the prosecution no carry correct matter come court, and dis one fit dem no let am open him defence properly.
Kanu no gree collect idea from people wey don enter court matter like say na holiday trip. One time, him even suggest make court allow him see Justice Omotosho in private to go discuss wahala wey fit fit embarrass Judiciary. But Judge no gree, say make the matter dey clear for everybody to hear.
Now, the court don tell Kanu say him need enter him defence on November 7, or else, make dem just close the case.
