Eko Electricity Distribution Company and Abuja Electricity Distribution Company gist say customers for dia areas don dey feel di heat of total power disconnection since around 11:34 am. Dem talk say dis blackout na because of di national grid wey collapse around 11:23 am, which don throway light for many homes, businesses, and even parties wey dey happen for di city (no be small gbege, I swear!).
According to di electricity companies, dem dey try make sure say power go return as e no dey so simple. Na wetin dem talk: “Please know say di power outage currently being experienced na due to loss of supply from di national grid at 11:23 am today, affecting electricity supply across our franchise areas.” So, no be say dem no go fit gree restore di power, dem just dey make us sabi say dem dey work on am.
Di blackout no dey affect only Abuja and Lagos o; cities like Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Ogun, and Oyo dey join di kwikawi party wey no wan power since morning.
