Nigerian ‘Most Wanted’ Prostitution Ringleader, Madam Joy Extradited to Italy
Joy Jeff, a Nigerian woman who was sentenced to 13 years’ imprisonment for running a prostitution ring, has been extradited to Italy.
The police described Ms Jeff as a “prominent figure” in the Nigerian mafia.
Vittorio Rizzi, an Italian police chief responsible for international coordination stated that Ms Jeff had been convicted in absentia.
He said that Africa is now a strategic location when looking for fugitives and fighting organised crime.
