Nigerian Idol winner Kingdom wins Bayelsa government.  stock Exchange

The winner of season six of the recently concluded ‘Nigerian Idol’ Kingdom Kroseide has been awarded a scholarship from the Bayelsa government.

Governor Douye Diri made the disclosure on Friday when he received Kingdom and his team at the government residence in Yenagoa.

The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) recalls that before his emergence as the winner, he was a 200 level student at the Federal University of Otuoke (FUO), in the local government area of ​​Ogbia, in Bayelsa.

Diri said the government would now take responsibility for educating the talented 24-year-old singer at FUO, where he is a student, and up to master’s level if he so chooses.

Diri advised young people in the state to do their best in whatever they do to be successful in life.

The Governor said: “In appreciation of the honor you have rendered to the State, I hereby announce that you are a recipient of the Bayelsa State Government Scholarship.

“As you complete your first degree and if you wish, the scholarship will cover your program as well.

“You are also appointed Bayelsa State Youth Ambassador.

“Let me take this opportunity to call on the youth of the state to see Mr. Kingdom Kroseide as a role model; as someone who, through hard work and the grace of God, brought honor to the state.

“I am sure that by engaging in legitimate careers you would be doing a credit, not only to yourselves, but also to your state and your country,” he said.

While appreciating Kingdom for the honor bestowed on the state, Diri advised him to find a balance between his studies and his career.

He said that with a good education and the grace of God, he would excel in the career he chose, even off the coast of Nigeria.

He also advised Kingdom to continue using his music to glorify God and reach greater heights.

The governor noted that the Kingdom’s success is that of all Nigerians.

He thanked the judges of Nigerian Idol, the Nigerian Military School Old Boys Association and the Nigerians for their various roles which led the Bayelsa-born candidate to become the winner.

He also urged relevant ministries and agencies to put in place modalities to establish a music school that would harness the musical talents that abound in the state.

Previously, Kingdom Kroseide attributed its success to God’s grace and hard work.

He thanked the state government, the people of Bayelsa and the Nigerians for their support which helped him win the competition.

In separate remarks, the representative of the Federated Community of Amananaowei of Angalabiri, Chief Peres Peretu and the Director of the Kingdom, Felix Kroseide, thanked the state government and all who supported it and voted for it. his victory.

Peretu especially appreciated Diri’s leadership style of uniting and galvanizing the support of the people to enable him to achieve great achievements. (NAN) ()
