Three attack planes from the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, bombed dozens of terrorists from the Islamic State of West Africa’s province, ISWAP, in the northeast.

PRNigeria has learned that the jet bombings were carried out on an island in Tumbun, near Lake Chad.

A military source said following credible intelligence that ISWAP fighters in about 11 boats were converging for a meeting on Tumbun Island, NAF planes, as part of Operation Hadin Kai , were rushed to strike the targets.

“The plane took devastating blows during the meeting, leaving some survivors to scramble to save their lives,” he said.
