Nigerian artist Asake reveals new album and single

Asake has recently debuted new details on his upcoming album, Work of Art. The album is set to release on June 16th and is already beginning to draw attention with its first single, “Amapiano.”

The song is a collaboration with Olamide, also a Nigerian artist. The music video for “Amapiano” has been released and can be viewed online. It already has received thousands of views with positive feedback from fans.

The new album will feature the previously released singles “2:30” and “Yoga”. Asake was praised for his previous album Mr. Money With The Vibe that was named one of The FADER’s best albums of 2022.

Asake has many summer festival dates ahead, including shows at Afro Nation in Miami and Broccoli City in Washington D.C. in July. His recent performance in London, however, was marred by a tragedy when a fatal crush occurred that left two dead and several others injured.

The release of Work of Art is highly anticipated, and Asake fans are eagerly awaiting the new album!
