Nigerian Army Don Drop Shortlist for SSC Course 49/2026, Make You Shine Eye!

Kaduna, Nigeria – Omo! The Nigerian Army don finally drop di list wey plenty pipo dey wait for! Dem shortlist candidates wey go fit join di Short Service Combatant Commission (SSC) Course 49/2026. This one na serious matter, abeg. Di announcement come for Monday from di Military Secretary (Army), wey make everybody dey shine eye sha (no lazy attitude allowed o!).

So wetin be di requirement? Dem say all di shortlisted candidates go need to show their faces for di Nigerian Defence Academy, Ribadu Campus, for Kaduna State on December 1, 2025. But no play yourself, e go beta make you land for Kaduna on November 30, because dem go check registration between 6 AM and 11 AM on di main day. If you waka come after 11 AM, na disqualify you go see. Nobody wan waste time, abi?

As dem talk am, candidates gatz carry original and photocopies of all di necessary documents, like di NYSC discharge certificate, birth certificate, state of origin, BVN printout, NIN slip, and completed forms from di SSCC portal. E be like say anybody wey try fumble or alter dem documents, na disqualification dem go see, so no try am o!

And wetin you go carry come? You go need writing materials, blue shorts (no be di kind wey go make person jinx you o!), white T-shirts, selected canvas shoes (yes, we no dey do slippers for military), toiletries, beddings, and full-size colourful photographs. Plus, don’t forget your scratch cards for checking your WAEC or NECO results—dem dey serious!

Now, di parents or guardians gatz provide wetin dem call “duly signed Letter of Consent” wey come from a recognized court of law. Na so e be, make dem confirm say dem no go ask money if anything happen during di exercise. E no be joke matter o!

Di selection go hot well well, as dem go carry out document verification, physical tests (better fitness, no space for lazy bones), medical exams, academic assessments, and even oral interviews. Just remember say to dey too cocky or misbehave fit end your dream, so make sure say you dey well-behaved.

Di Army don also talk say dem go provide food and where to sleep during di exercise, but transportation? Na your wahala! No private cars or visitors allowed—na military level we dey, no be picnic. High discipline level na di order of di day, and any violation fit lead to disqualification. Dem no dey play!
