Nigeria Get N13bn for Power Sagas, $34m Transformers Too!

Abuja, Nigeria – Na wah! Adelabu talk say this money go help compensate property owners and communities wey dey under the transmission line route. “When we complete this project, na dedicated and stable electricity go follow our industrial estates, wey dey touch Nigeria economy well well!” he assured with confidence.

The transformer upgrade initiative sef go dig deeper into pocket with N5.2 billion alongside the $34 million wey dem factor for related expenses. Dem go set new transformers to replace those old ones wey dey fall apart faster than a soldier wey no go gym!

Dem talk say this upgrade go include two 150MVA 330/132kV transformers, three 100MVA 132/33kV transformers, and so many more versatile transformers, wey go land for different locations across the national grid. “E go help relieve pressure for overloaded substations, improve voltage stability, and fit handle the new load wey dey on ground,” Adelabu explain.
