The Nigerian Beach Soccer League (NBSL) 2021 Super Four is scheduled to be held Thursday through Saturday at Murtala Square in Kaduna.

National coordinator Mahmud Hadejia, who revealed this while speaking to reporters on Wednesday in Kaduna, said the participating teams are KADA BSC, Kwara BSC, Kebbi BSC and Smart City BSC.

Kebbi BSC will face Smart City BSC in the opening match on Day 1, while hosts KADA BSC take on Kwara BSC to end the day.

Day two will see Kwara BSC take on Kebbi BSC in Match 1, while KADA BSC take on Smart City BSC in Match 2.

Kwara BSC will take on Smart City BSC in Matchday 3’s opener, while an epic battle between KADA BSC and Kebbi BSC will draw back the curtains of the Super 4.

Matches must start every day at 3:30 p.m.

Hadejia, who is also the president of the African Beach Soccer Union, said that with the facility in place, Kaduna state has the opportunity to host next year’s Super 4.

He said many states are keen to host next year’s Super 4 as well, but Kaduna state has a better chance.

“We will announce the winners of the offer at the end of Super 4 on July 31,” he said.

Hadejia said the league started in Lagos in April, had three rounds in Kebbi and Kwara and will end in Kaduna.

He said qualifying for the Super 4 in Nigeria was a great achievement.

The coordinator praised the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for endorsing the league, adding that it would be an annual event.

He praised the Kaduna state government for its partnership with the league and its logistics.

“We have the support of the Kaduna state government; we appreciate what the state government has done.

“We will also tell the whole world that Kaduna is a peaceful state and a good place to live,” he said.

He also praised the media for advertising Beach Soccer.

Also speaking, Kaduna State Sports Development Ministry Permanent Secretary Mahmud Yamusa said the state is proud to host the first edition of Beach Soccer Super 4.

He explained that the development of sport requires the collaboration of governments and other key stakeholders.

Yamusa has asked the league’s board of directors to give the state the option of hosting the event again in 2022.

“I want Kaduna state to host beach soccer in 2022, and if the opportunity arose, by then Murtala Square would have been completed, where all sports facilities will be located,” he said. declared.

In his remarks, Kaduna State Beach Soccer Association President Musa Nimrod urged attendees to soak up the sportsmanship that beach football is famous for.

“I want us to love each other. It’s not like other sports. I want you all to love each other. Today we are all united as winners, ”he said. (NAA)
