NEW YORK, USA — Every year, dem dey block road for Fifth Avenue just to let people run like say dem be Usain Bolt! This year no be different as thousands of runners show dem selves at the New Balance 5th Avenue Mile on Sunday, September 7, 2025, as dem chase glory down 20 blocks of iconic street.
No be small wahala dis! From East 80th Street to East 60th Street, traffic no fit pass as dem full ground dey race ti dokun! E no be like running for track o, dem dey climb small hills wey fit catch your breath if you no sabi am. (Na who sabi hills dey run this race? No be me!)
Even though rain come pour like say na wet season, e no stop the vibe for di runners wey dey compete. Everybody still dey shine like stars for their respective lanes. And as dem dey run, dem dey enjoy di atmosphere wey dey electrify di place!
For di women’s side, Gracie Morris grab di first spot with 4 minutes 15.5 seconds! Kayley Delay follow am for second with 4 minutes 17.4 seconds, and Karissa Schweizer come third for 4 minutes 17.6 seconds. Na wah! Talk about speed, these ladies na serious contenders!
For di men dem, Yared Nuguse show dem wetin im dey do with di clock as e finish with 3 minutes 47.7 seconds. Parker Wolfe and Drew Hunter follow am closely both finishing with 3 minutes 48.1 seconds. (If you no dey fit catch dem, just give dem way!)
