Di show na adaptation from di popular card game wey sabi as ‘Exploding Kittens’. Di koko of di story be say God and di Devil don change body enter cat, dem come dey live for one wahala house wey just dey scatter everywhere with their cosmic fight wey dey pepper di poor family wey no sabi wetin dey happen. (Talk say na true wahala na dis show be.)
Na so e be, although di series get nine episodes and plenty big names for voice cast like Tom Ellis and Lucy Liu, critics no really gree am. Di reception wey critics give mouth no too bright, audience reaction sef dey mix like jollof wey get plenty toppings. (Maybe dem just dey wax philosophical instead of rolling on di floor laughing.)
During di short run, di show gree enter Netflix daily top 10 for over 60 countries, but e no ever make am reach di global top 10. Na dis kind performance dey make Netflix dey side-eye you when dem wan decide wetin go continue. Oboy, e no dey sweet.
Insiders talk say plans for season two dey on ground, but Netflix don decide say make dem no go forward. Dem want to keep di wallet tight since di show no fit jump small like dem wan. (E be like say dem don stash dem money for better shows wey dey come.)
For fans wey still dey enjoy di game, no wahala. Di mobile version still dey available on Netflix Games, and di card game dey sell like hot cake across di globe.
