Kogi, State, 11th August 2025 – Na wah oo! Over 1.9 million Nigerians don apply for the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment exercise. All this na as the application portal finally close on Monday, August 11. E be like say every padi and padi’s friend join hand for this hustle.
To drop some gragra, this recruitment wahala no be small. The exercise originally plan to start on June 26, but na technical wahala cause am to shift to July 14, and again to July 21. Last last, dem open the portal finish and stretch the close date from August 4 to now, August 11. E no easy o, but Nigerians no wan dull themselves.
According to CDCFIB, Kogi State carry the heavy medal with a whopping 116,162 applicants. Kaduna follow closely with 114,536, while Benue dey jolly with 110,565. Na five states dey make all this noise — Kano and Niger join the party, together them don contribute 510,174 applications. Dem really show say dem ready to defend our dear Nigeria. (If you ask me, I go say dem fit start a football league with that number!)
But no b everywhere sweet. For the bottom of the table, na Bayelsa, Lagos, Rivers, Ebonyi, and Delta dey for lowest. With Bayelsa getting just 11,669 and Lagos showing face with 14,216 applicants, e be like say some states just dey chill for the sidelines. Wetin happen? Where the hustle?
As the application portal don close, CDCFIB drop message say dem go contact shortlisted candidates with instructions for next steps. So, all the applicants wey don submit their forms, sharperly check your emails and phones. No let your matter fall for deaf ears, oo! E get updates wey fit make you blow like say you just win lottery.
In the official message wey dem post for their social media handle, CDCFIB show gratitude to everyone weh apply. Dem talk say, “Recruitment Applications Closed! Thank you for your interest and commitment to serve with honor, integrity, and national pride.” E be like say dem don nack us better pep talk, but we dey seriously wait for this next step to come out sha.
For the paramilitary recruitment wey dey go on, na Nigerian citizens between 18 and 35 years dey qualify. But no be only age matter; you gatz get clean criminal record, fit follow instructions, and have sharp brain. SSCE minimum qualification dey required too, plus degrees for some special fields if you wan carry last.
