Waidi Shaibu, wan forcefully recruit all Nigerians wey dey 18 years and above into military. But hold your horses, my people! The Nigerian Army don come out sharply to debunk this claim.
Na so Lt.-Col. Appolonia Anele, wey be the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, release statement give sense to the matter. According to am, the allegation no get basis at all, as dem call am “malicious fabrication.” Wetin? People dey use social media to spread wahala like say dem no get better work to do?
Anele talk say the post wey dey circulate claim say chief don threaten to conscript youths wey no gree enlist voluntarily and say 10,000 soldiers wey dem recruit last year don vanish like smoke. E be like say dem wan use fear gas to wahala us! But she assure our people say no such thing happen, and say Waidi Shaibu no even talk that kind thing for anywhere.
Shaibu dey work to make sure say our security strong, wey make am busy with serious matter. So wetin we go gain by spreading lies? Make we no forget say her warning no be joke. she don talk say anybody wey dey carry this kind fake news go face the law, if dem catch you. Na serious matter, o!
Instead of follow rumour, her advice be say make we focus on proper channels for information. No let anybody mislead you with juju-sounding headlines. Just follow verified and recognized sources for updates. If una no go do am for una own good, do am for your padi wey dey look up to you!
