New York City, USA – Veterans Day dey come again! People go come out for November 11, 2025, to celebrate and honor all di troops wey don serve for di military. Na federal holiday wey start for 1954 and e go dey hold every year for di same date, wey sabi say na di day wey di fighting stop for World War I. Armistice Day don change to Veterans Day to fit honor veterans from all wars.
This year parade go sweet well as e dey expected say over 20,000 service members, 25 floats, and 280 marching units go pass for Fifth Avenue. All dis wahala dey show say we no dey play with our heroes (as dem call them)
For dis day, all federal offices go close, so you no fit expect say your mail go land for your doorstep; Na why dem talk say make you do your errands well-well before di day come. But no fear, some services like UPS go still dey run, though dem go add small time for any delivery because na holiday.
Restaurants and shops go still dey open with specials for veterans, so no wahala if you wan chop or buy something. For example, Costco and many grocery stores dem go still dey operate normal hours. But check well make sure say your favorite spot no dey change style o!
