Abuja, Nigeria – Minister of Works, David Umahi, don open mouth talk say dem go spend N761 billion to makeover the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road. This big announcement come as he dey inspect the project site on Saturday. E mention say President Bola Tinubu don receive the completion time for the road, and no be small matter o!
According to Umahi, the project go run for 14 months as dem dey divide am into sections. Section 1 and 3 go cover 118 kilometers and na N252 billion be the total price. Tinubu don drop 30 percent, wey be around N60 billion. People matter dey sweet, abi na we dey chop this project money like say na pepper soup?
Una no go believe say Section 2 go measure 72 kilometers plus small spice of reinforced concrete and 15 kilometers go dey flexible. For this one, total cost na N507 billion and dem don cash out 30 percent wey be over N150 billion. If we join the two projects till we reach Kano, we dey look at N761 billion, wey Umahi dey hail Tinubu for the boldness to push this project.
As e talk am, the project dey tagged “Rebuilding Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road by President Bola Tinubu,” so na serious fiesta for road development base. Umahi gree say him and the President dey passionate about making sure this highway no go turn to potholes in the next 100 years. He dey reason am so because this one go be legacy e go leave for the people wey go come after us. Who wan chop this legacy? Ah, we all do!
