Morocco and the Republic of Mauritius have agreed to initiate a new sectoral cooperation dynamic by inviting the ministers of both countries to interact to assess the implementation of the previously signed agreements and jointly identify actions and projects to be undertaken in key sectors, such as health, renewable energies and information technologies.
Mr. Bourita and Mr. Ganoo also highlighted the interest in establishing an ambitious and fruitful cooperation in the maritime sectors, such as port infrastructure, maritime transport, fishing, aquaculture, protection of underwater cultural heritage and renewable marine energies.
As part of the strengthening of the legal framework that governs Moroccan-Mauritian relations, the two ministers agreed on the next signing of agreements that will be finalized between the two countries.
Aware of the importance of developing their partnership in the economic field, the two officials decided to intensify trade, which continues to be below the potential of both countries, and encourage cross-investment dynamics between Morocco and the Republic of Mauritius, inviting the economic operators to multiply missions to explore business and investment opportunities on both sides.
