A Historic Win For the Local Dispensary
6 Brick’s is making history in the industry by being the first Black woman-owned dispensary to win at the New England Cannabis Convention. The awards recognize Shubrick’s dynamic entrepreneurship and her ability to create a successful venture in a rapidly growing industry.

Shubrick’s Vision For 6 Bricks
Payton Shubrick has been committed to making 6 Brick’s a successful dispensary since she opened the business in 2019. Her vision was to create a dispensary that was welcoming to everyone in the community while providing a safe and enjoyable cannabis shopping experience. By winning two awards at the NECANN, Shubrick has proven that her business model is successful and has gained recognition from industry leaders and local officials.
The Cannabis Industry Continues To Grow
This recognition for 6 Brick’s and Payton Shubrick is a testament to the growth and success of the cannabis industry in Massachusetts. As more dispensaries and cannabis-related businesses enter the industry, the need for innovative entrepreneurs like Shubrick becomes even more essential. The industry continues to expand, and we can expect to see more historic wins like this in the future.
The Importance of Supporting Minority-Owned Businesses
As cannabis businesses continue to grow, it’s important to highlight and support minority-owned dispensaries like 6 Brick’s. These businesses face unique challenges and barriers to entry in the industry, making it even more critical to support their success. By supporting diverse cannabis companies, we can create a more inclusive and equitable industry for everyone.
