London-based Fundpath secures £4m investment from Fuel Ventures
Connecting fund buyers with asset management firms
London-based Fundpath has received a £4m investment from Fuel Ventures to continue developing its software. The platform connects fund buyers with asset management firms and acts as a database containing the preferences of fund buyers. It filters out asset management firms that do not meet fund buyers’ criteria, which saves them time and avoids irrelevant offers. Jamie Hinchliffe, CEO and co-founder of Fundpath, said, “Our mission is to bridge the information disconnect between the buyers and sellers of funds.”

Investment in new technologies
Fundpath intends to use Fuel Ventures’ £4m “late seed capital” to keep developing its software and “invest in new technologies”. The company was founded in 2021, and hopes to have a positive impact on the wealth and asset management industries. Mark Pearson, general partner at Fuel Ventures, said, “The outstanding feedback we have received from wealth managers and asset managers about what Fundpath is creating, and the scale of the progress that has been made in such a short period, was enough to convince us that we should be part of their journey.”
