Lobi Stars Begin Preparations for NPFL/LaLiga U-15 Football Tournament

Competition to be held at Remo Stars Stadium, Ogun State

Lobi Stars have started their preparations for the upcoming NPFL/LaLiga U-15 football tournament set to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne Ogun State. The team is currently training at the McCarthy Stadium in Makurdi.

20 NPFL Teams to Participate

All 20 teams in the Nigeria Premier Football League are expected to take part in the competition. The NPFL/LaLiga U-15 football tournament provides a platform for young footballers to showcase their skills and talents on a national level.

Players Graduating to First Team

A significant number of players who have participated in the competition in the past have graduated to their club’s first team, highlighting the importance of the tournament in player development and talent scouting in Nigerian football.

Remo Stars Victorious in 2022 Edition

The most recent edition of the tournament was won by Remo Stars, who defeated Shooting Stars 2-0 in the final. The victory was a testament to the quality of young players being developed in Nigerian football and the level of competition in the tournament.
