 The Lagos Multi Door Courthouse LMDC has graduated participants of the May 2022 Mediation Skills Training MST programme it organised on behalf of Oyo State Multi Door Courthouse OYSMDC A cross section of officials of LMDC and OYSMDC at the MST graduation ceremony held in the High Court of Oyo State In a statement in Lagos on Thursday Mrs Justina Chukwuma Asst of Corporate Services LMDC said that the graduation took place on Wednesday at the High Court of Oyo State Chukwuma said that the event was the first of its kind in the history of the LMDC According to the official the Chief Judge of Oyo State Justice Munta Abimbola said that the state judiciary was dedicated to effective administration of justice It is necessary to kit the stakeholders with the knowledge required for effective use of the various Alternative Dispute Resolution ADR services rendered by OYSMDC Chukwuma quoted Abimbola as saying She also quoted Justice Jumoke Pedro Chairman of the LMDC Governing Council as saying that the graduands participation in the LMDC MST was an opportunity to begin or re energise their mediation practice with appropriate mediation skills and ethical foundation for excellence Pedro also enjoined the graduands to participate in the LMDC Mentorship Programme designed to facilitate participants development in mediation according to Chukwuma Chukwuma added that Mrs Achere Cole Acting Director of LMDC charged the participants to imbibe mediation ethics such as diligence impartiality confidentiality and honesty to ensure a smooth mediation process and enhance ADR growth www ng NewsSourceCredit NAN

3 In a statement in Lagos on Thursday, Mrs Justina Chukwuma, Asst. of Corporate Services, LMDC, said that the graduation took place on Wednesday at the High Court of Oyo State.

4 Chukwuma said that the event was the first of its kind in the history of the LMDC.

5 According to the official, the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice  Munta Abimbola, said that the state judiciary was dedicated to effective administration of justice.

6 “It is necessary to kit the stakeholders with the knowledge required for effective use of the various Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services rendered by OYSMDC,” Chukwuma quoted Abimbola as saying.
