Liverpool FC — Andy Robertson awarded MBE
Dundee United
The Liverpool defender has been recognized for his outstanding achievements on the game, as well as his commitment to making a difference off the pitch through his own charity.

After starting his senior professional career at Queen’s Park, Robertson moved to Dundee United and then south to Hull City before signing for the Reds in the summer of 2017.

Since then, the left-back has made 243 appearances for Liverpool and has been a key figure in winning a series of great honours, including Champions League glory in 2019, the Premier League title the following year and the successes from last season’s Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup.

Robertson, who captains the Scotland national team, has also scored eight goals for the Reds and recently became the most assisted defender in the Premier League era by scoring his 54th.
Off the pitch, his charitable efforts include the launch of the AR26 Charity, which aims to give all young people in their home country an equal start in life, in late 2020.
His work includes free soccer training sessions, mentoring youth seeking employment and educational opportunities, and providing life-changing experiences for children and youth facing challenges, particularly critical health issues.
