List of names of the Qhubeka team for Brugge-De Panne

The Dane, whose road racing abilities are reflected in his prominent role on the track, forms a vital part of the engine room that will seek to deliver the likes of European and Italian champion Giacomo Nizzolo of Germany’s Max Walscheid and lead man Matteo Pelucchi. in the final stages of the eagerly awaited race.

This is an event in which crosswinds are likely to play a role along the 204.4 km course, and should be an exciting sight.

The extra firepower for the Qhubeka ASSOS team will come from fellow Danish player Andreas Stokbro with Dutchman Bert-Jan Lindeman and Pole Lukasz Wisniowski.

We would like to thank Michael Prior for his video submission of our roster for the race and for his continued support to the team and the Qhubeka charity. You can see it here (https://bit.ly/3d47Fc2).

I can’t wait to take part in a sunny edition of De Panne tomorrow, but it looks like the wind will play a role. That said, the weather is looking generally good so at this point that would indicate the race is ending in a tuck sprint.. I look forward to playing my part in the success of the team, however the race turns out.

More generally, I’m really happy with the team. I really enjoy the Ubuntu feel and style in the races. It’s a good professional environment with space for fun on the bike.

Hendrik Redant – Sporting Director

It can be a very interesting race, especially if it is very windy – and the weather is good or bad. Tomorrow we expect there will be no rain and the wind will be “average” but it will still create a lot of damage in the peloton as there are quite a few narrow roads and there are always cross winds.

It was a race I won once – a long time ago! – but the sport has changed drastically, but for us I think we’re going to be looking to see how well a team we are able to ride with the peloton if they don’t separate.

I think depending on the weather it will be a big group for a sprint and then with Nizzolo, Walscheid and others we have guys who can go fast. The plan will be for Nizzolo as our fastest guy, but first of all he has to be in the big break, if that happens, and I think tomorrow we will create chances for a good result.
