Lawsuit Against Law Enforcement Stemming from Home Search

The Search

A lawsuit has been filed against law enforcement in Adams County, Colorado over a home search conducted in August of 2022. The search was conducted with a lawfully issued search warrant and was for evidence related to drug possession and trafficking, as well as kidnapping. The search was of the home of Adam Foreman.

The Complaint

According to a complaint filed on March 13, the actions of the law enforcement officials were willful, wanton, malicious, and done with conscious or reckless disregard for the rights of plaintiffs. The complaint alleges that the use of their personas for commercial purposes was not authorized.

Response from Foreman

Adam Foreman, whose home was searched, is speaking out about the violation of his rights. He claims that the video footage taken from his home is his property and that he is a law-abiding, taxpaying citizen who was violated by criminals camouflaged by law-enforcement. His lawyer states that they are still waiting for public records requests from Adams County and plan to counter sue for the unlawful raid, money being stolen, and the damage that was done to Foreman’s family, career, and property.
