According to a statement, Head, Communications and Branding, LAPO MfB won this award category for the ninth consecutive time.
Akande said it was recognition of LAPO’s industry leadership and consistency in delivering on its core mandate of social and economic empowerment of low-income household members.
“Over the years, we have been supporting these low-income households through the provision of responsive official services and social interventions that impact lives and communities in a sustainable way.
“This award is dedicated to our loyal clients, resilient and committed staff, board and management for providing strong and strategic leadership in line with the institution’s vision,” he said.
He added that LAPO MfB remains committed to its more than 30-year mandate of social and economic empowerment of low-income household members and owners of micro, small and medium-sized businesses in a sustainable manner.
